Prof. Shen-Ming Chen (h-index > 60) received his PhD degrees in chemistry from National Taiwan University, Taipei, Taiwan. He was a visiting postdoctoral fellow with the Institute of Inorganic Chemistry, Friedrich-Alexander University Erlangen-Nuremberg, Germany in 1997. He joined Department of Chemical Engineering, National Taipei Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan in 1985. He had been an associate professor of Department of Chemical Engineering, National Taipei Institute of Technology, Taipei, Taiwan from 1991 to 1997. Since August 1997, he has been a full professor of Department of Chemical Engineering and Biotechnology, National Taipei University of Technology. He has been the Dean (Curator) of library, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan from 2000 to 2006 and the Director of Extracurricular Activity, office of student affairs, National Taipei University of Technology, Taiwan from 1995 to 2000.

Prof. Yi-Chu Huang  National Pingtung University of Science and Technology, Taiwan, China  Research Area: Nano technology for environmental treatment and remediation, Membrane separation,  Environmental monitoring and modelling

Prof. Yi-Chu Huang received his PhD degrees in civil engineering (major in environmental engineering) from Texas A&M University, USA. He is a full professor of Department of Environmental Science and Engineering, National Pingtung University of Science and Technology. He has been the associate Dean of College of Engineering (2013~2015) and Chair of Department of Environmental Science and Engineering (2016~2018). Research area includes nano metallic/bimetallic reduction of contaminants, advanced and photocatalytic oxidation of emerging contaminants, membrane separation of pollutants in water, groundwater remediation, and water quality management and model development.

Prof. Kew-Yu Chen  Feng Chia University, Taiwan, China  Research Area: Functional organic small molecule materials

Kew-Yu Chen , National Kaohsiung Normal University (B.S. 2000), National Taiwan University (M.S. 2002; Ph.D. 2008), Academia Sinica (postdoct. 2009), Science teacher of Zen Mei Junior High School (2003), Assistant Professor (2010), Associate Professor (2013) and Professor (2016) of Feng Chia University. Research interests: reaction-based colorimetric and ratiometric fluorescent cyanide-selective sensors, white-light-emitting single molecules for white organic light-emitting diodes, near-infrared absorbing dyes for organic solar cells, and soluble pentacene precursors for organic thin-film transistors.

Prof. Mohammad Dalour Hossen Beg Universiti Malaysia  Pahang, Malaysia   Research Area: Polymer, Composites, Biomaterials, Nanocellulose and nanomaterials

Pro.Mohammad Dalour Hossen Beg major research area is Polymer and Composites.  Likewise, his other research area is the production and characterization of nanoparticles, and production of nanocomposites. One of his current projects is the production of nanocellulose from natural fibre and incorporation of nanocellulose into polymer matrix for different application such as for hydrogel, reinforcing plastics etc. Beside biodegradable plastic he has developed additives to accelerate the degradation rate of synthetic plastics (e.g. polyethylene).  Beside plastics and composites, He is also working on biomaterials such nano fibre from chitosan and PLA for controlled release drug delivery and the production of hydroxyapatite from waste materials for bone tissue engineering. He has published more than 100 Journal papers and more than 75 conference papers, 11 patents. Currently the citation is over 2000 with h-index 23.

Prof. Dongfang Yang Guizhou Minzu University, China Research Area: Environment, Ecology, Bio-geochemistry, Materials Science and Engineering

Dongfang Yang is a professor in Guizhou Minzu University, China. He has been working in the monitoring center of the Beihai branch of State Oceanic Administration and Shanghai Fisheries University, he mainly focuses in the teaching of marine ecology, biology and mathematics and the research of marine ecology and biogeochemistry.
